Pizza Hut isn’t at all friendly when you’re trying to lose weight. In fact, it’s a worse choice when you’re eating out and you’re dieting. We all know that pizza contains loads of calories and fats in each slice. So, if you’re watching your diet, it’s better to keep track of your numbers.

How To Eat Pizza Hut Without Ruining Your Weight Loss Plan?

Thankfully, there are ways that can help you eat pizza at this favorite quick-service restaurant without ruining your weight loss goal. Here are some suggestions that you can try to stick to your strict diet without having to say “no” each time your friend asks you to eat at Pizza Hut.

    1. Order vegetables

The toppings on this brand aren’t at all helpful to your diet, unless you’ll only eat the mushrooms, chicken, broccoli, peppers and pineapple. However, when you’re at this restaurant, you should order as many vegetables as possible. For instance, you should order a small-sized pizza and a large bowl of vegetable salad.

    That’d do the trick.

    2. Spread your pizza consumption

Don’t consume the entire box for just one seating. You can eat one slice and wait for a few hours before eating another slice. This is especially true if you’ve smaller physique or you don’t exercise much.

The rule of thumb here is not to eat the entire box of Pizza Hut in one day. Instead, you should spread your consumption to two days. This means that if you have a box of pizza with 8 slices, you might want to consume them every six hours.

If you’re hungry after an hour, you can opt for a healthier snack and drink lots of water to make your stomach full.

    3. Opt for Veggie Lovers

What’s great about this quick-service restaurant is its Thin and Crispy cheese flavor. Those who are on a diet can go with this treat.

On Weight Watchers, this Pizza Hut flavor has 5 points while the Veggie Lovers flavor has only 5 points. If you opt for cheese only, then you’re not helping your weight as it contains more calories. The trick here is to choose a flavor that has little meat toppings but more veggies.

    4. Be careful in ordering other items

When you go and order food items from this restaurant, you’ll be bombarded with plenty of options. Each of them has more than 150 calories, which is not great for your weight loss goal. The Cheese breadsticks, for instance, has 180 calories per serving. So, as much as possible, do avoid those items with more than 150 calories.

If you’re ordering a dipping sauce, make sure that you choose the Marinara as it only contains 60 calories and no fat. The ranch dipping sauce at Pizza Hut has 220 calories and 23 grams of fat. Its stuffed pizza rollers have a whopping 230 calories per serving with 10 grams of fat, which can truly hurt your plan to shed some pounds.

Another important piece of advice you must consider is not to choose the Tuscani Pasta Bacon Mac n Cheese when you’re out dining at Pizza Hut. Do you know why? It has 520 calories and some fattening pastas.
