Stop Queasy Stomach – Remedies for Nausea

“When a man’s stomach is full, it makes no difference whether he’s rich or poor.” – Euripides

We all get a queasy stomach once in a while. Some of us get that feeling when riding a car or a rollercoaster. This feeling is also experienced by pregnant women. It’s called “morning sickness.”

Having a queasy stomach also arises during an illness or a side effect of a certain medications.

Good thing is that there are natural remedies that can help with nausea. Here are some of them.

    Avoid the Triggers

This isn’t a natural remedy but it’s a prevention tip. What causes your nausea? You must know. It can be from a certain scent.

You have to know them so you can easily avoid getting a queasy stomach.

Avoiding bothersome scents, like perfumes and certain cooking smells, can also prevent nausea.

Instead, choose to have plenty of fresh air. There’s also an essential oil blend that you can use to block bothersome odors. It’s refreshing and relaxing.

    Add Ginger

Ginger is one of the most essential natural remedies for nausea. It’s also the most popular as it easily alleviates quelling queasiness.

Good thing is that there’s a ginger ale that you can find that’s made with real ginger.

Each time you feel nauseous, add a little ginger to your glass of water. It can be cold or warm. It doesn’t matter. This natural remedy can help you out, instantly.

    Have Peppermint Tea

Peppermint tea is one of the most mouthwatering teas. In addition to it being delicious, it’s also an effective natural remedy for nausea.

Try sipping this tea after eating.

Or you can try having peppermint-flavored lozenges.

    Motion Sickness Issue

If you’re suffering from motion sickness, just like my nephew, consider optimizing your position to reduce motion.

What does this mean? Instead of riding in a car, try driving a vehicle. Or you may sit in the front seat of a bus or a car. In the plane, try sitting over the aircraft’s wing.

What Essential Oils are Effective for Nausea?

As previously mentioned, there are essential oils that can help alleviate nausea. Peppermint is a great example of essential oil that can calm and soothe the body. It’s been used for thousands of years to support normal digestion.

Another essential oil that you can use is spearmint. It doesn’t only support proper digestion but it also brings you the feelings of calmness.

Or try to mix ginger, peppermint, fennel, cardamom, and spearmint essential oils to soothe occasional stress. Add the mixture to a diffuser. Or inhale its scent directly from the bottle.

Another way to use such blend is to apply it topically on your Vital Flex points to support healthy energy flow, as well as vitality.

What natural remedies for nausea have you tried? Have you tried the essential oils mentioned above? Tells us your experiences.
