Protein Bar with Peppermint Essential Oil

Protein bars are great for any weight loss program. They can provide you with the right amount of protein to help you feel full longer.

But your success with them will still depend on your eating habits and fitness goals.

If you decide to obtain protein bars from a health shop, you’ll be provided with products that may contain milk, eggs and soy.

They may also include other ingredients, such as vitamins, minerals, fats and carbohydrates to boost your nutrient intake. What’s more is that they come in various flavors.

But the quality of the protein bar and the amount of nutrients present can influence its effects on your overall health. That is, it may help or hinder your ability to lose weight.

    Nutrilite’s Protein Bar

It includes high-quality protein that offers essential amino acids that can help you build and maintain lean muscle mass.

In addition to that, it produces immune cells and RBCs. Plus, it repairs wounds and damaged tissues.

To further support your overall health, it offers you sufficient amount of carbs for energy.

I eat it as my on-the-go snack, especially when I’m travelling. I sometimes use it as a small meal replacement when I’m too busy to prepare meals.

Since it’s high in protein, it makes me feel full for longer hours.

Homemade Protein Bar with Essential Oil

I’m currently discovering the benefits of essential oils and I thought about infusing them to my homemade protein bar.

I found so many protein bar recipes on Pinterest. I also liked the homemade protein bar by WholeNewMom but the ingredients are too complicated to prepare for my busy schedule.

So, to make my life a lot easier, I’m going to shorten the ingredients into this list:

    How to Make It:

    1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl
    2. Mix them well with a mixer
    3. Make sure that all ingredients are evenly combined
    4. Make bite-size balls

The best thing of it all is that it doesn’t require baking. Once you’re done, refrigerate for a few minutes and enjoy!
