    Energy Drinks Could Cause Heart Problems - As Warned by An Energy Drink Addict

    How many cans of energy drink do you drink a day? If you say more than one, then you should probably think again of taking another energy drink.

    On Facebook, a teenager posted a shocking image of herself. But she only did it to warn others about the dangers of energy drinks. The photo showed a heart rate monitor that’s attached to her body. Her body is also wrapped with wires.

    She has to wear them every day as a result of drinking cans of energy drink a day in the past.

    She wrote on her Facebook profile:

    “I thought long and hard about uploading it. This is what happens when you spend your childhood drinking energy drinks. I’m now stuck with wires and a massive box attached to me for 24 hours. Before you drink cheap energy drinks think about what you’re doing to your body. To anyone who is a parent don’t let your kids drink them they should be banned.”

    Dion revealed that she used to consume four to five cans a day just to help her lose weight. But her love for this type of caffeinated drinks had left her suffering from having low blood pressure and a severe heart condition.

    Her addiction to energy drinks started when she was still in the secondary school. She said that

    “I was young and foolish and thought if I stop eating I will lose weight. It worked but now I don’t like food and hurt my body.”

    Her mother, Debby Frost, praised the bravery of her daughter.

    As regards to her medical condition, it was only discovered after her second miscarriage.
